Snow-Covered Alders

We woke up one crisp, clear morning this week after a night of heavy snow, and it felt good just to breathe in the clean air. We had already been at work a few hours when it got light outside, and the views were such that Sarah hopped on the ATV, went home, grabbed her real camera and her gaiters, (not that our trusty Panasonic DMC-TZ4 point and shoot we've had in our pocket all along hasn't captured excellent panoramas thus far), and waded out into the tundra to get these shots of the alders and the daytime moon.
