Alaska Pollock Waterfall

We got the chance to have a proper tour of Trident's Akutan Plant (the largest in the world) one late night when Steve Francis, the man in charge, had some time. The first thing we saw when we lifted the plastic flaps to enter the plant was this waterfall of Alaska Pollock. U.S. fisheries process Alaska Pollock catches at a rate of 1.5 million tons a year, almost entirely from the Bering Sea.
