KSDP Radio Interview

Sarah enjoyed a moment in the spotlight this afternoon on the Aleutian's NPR affiliate KSDP's Meet The People, hosted by Kells Hetherington. Listen here. There was a small miscommunication about her role in these communities, as he several times dubbed her a "Diabetes expert" (yikes!), but she did get to advertise her project to get kids active, the "Aleutian Olympics," which is going to be piloted in Sand Point on April 24. On KSDP, the interview was followed by the David Bowie song "Fame," the lyrics for which Sarah has a newfound respect: "Fame puts you where things are hollow." She's really not even sure who her friends are anymore, or whether people just want to get close to her because of, you know, the interview. Listen to the broadcast by clicking here.
