Dinner With Friends

The NP who usually works out of the clinic here in Cold Bay is traveling elsewhere and letting us use her home for the rest of our time here (after our first two nights in the Bearfoot, and the last many nights in motels, it's been a gift to get to live in a house). We got together with friends and enjoyed a dinner so beautiful that we spent several minutes talking about how it looked on the plate before actually eating it. Mami prepared some salmon caught locally by our neighbors, and we had a shrimp salad, rice, and sauteed vegetables. Almost made us cry. What fun.
