Gearwork in the Net Loft
Chris was especially proud of his novel method of using a sailing block (bottom) given to him by a friend years ago to cut down on the elbow grease needed to maneuver the traditional double block (top). A demonstration of tightening up the hold on the net he was repairing revealed his excitement over the issue was well founded, as there was much grunting and heaving with the double block, and a mere click*slip*dink with the sailing block.
