I know I'm not supposed to actually want to buy these stone-washed Wild Fire jeans they were selling at Gould's Grocery here in King Cove, but there's just something about the jeans, the Love's Baby Soft, the multi-pasteled lace decking the shelves, the flannel pioneer-lady nightgowns hanging in the back (not pictured), that brings back sweet memories. Is it missing the good old 80s? Is it longing for the South? I'm not sure. But I think it has something to do with Dolly Parton.
