Blue Steel Revisited: Animal Kingdom Supermodels Attempt Half-Face Pose

You'll remember this famous wolf half-face from a Sierra Club campaign in the nineties (image of the wolf is not ours), but what you probably didn't know was that a now little-known eagle living on a small island of the Aleutian chain was the runner-up in those half-face tryouts. That eagle is still living down in the islands, and if an audience gathers, he'll begrudgingly creep away from them on his branch, then, without faltering, whip around and saunter back, a sultry look on his face, pursed beak, never losing eye contact, then finish with a tilt of the hips, a contra-tilt of his neck, and his half-face pose behind a limb--blue steel of the animal kingdom.
